Rooting for Francophones

PDF Version

Citizens

The Commissioner’s Office invites all citizens of Ontario, regardless of their mother tongue, to communicate with his Office to address concerns they may have with regard to any gaps in the application of the French Language Services Act. This is not limited to instances of poor-quality direct services. It also includes broader issues such as the systemic barriers that restrict the provision of French programs and services to those who wish to live in French, in Ontario.

The Commissioner quickly sees to the most urgent cases but does not underestimate the importance of complaints that do not require immediate intervention.
