Newcomer Settlement Program

In 2013-2014, the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration approved $14.9 million in funding over two years for 98 agencies to deliver settlement services. Thanks to a $2 million increase in funding over two years, the Ministry was able to expand services to underserved and vulnerable communities, including doubling the level of funding for Francophone settlement service providers.
