Groupe Média TFO Accomplished Excellent Gains in Media

2013.11.18 - Billet Gains de TFO FRTruly one of the core institutions of Ontario’s Francophonie, Groupe Média TFO recently announced exceptional growth results. I wish to warmly congratulate the network’s team for its exemplary work.

TFO’s television audience increased by 105% between the Fall of 2012 and the Fall of 2013. The number of pages visited on tfo.org also increased by 130% to reach 1,234,640 pages viewed.

Not only that, Mini TFO, TFO’s educational programming for 2 to 6 year olds, reached over three million views on YouTube/minitfo in October 2013. As to YouTube/tfocanada, it almost quadrupled its traffic.

In the social media landscape, TFO reached a phenomenal increase of 2,234% in its number of followers on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube between the Fall of 2012 and the Fall of 2013.

Ontario’s Francophonie is privileged to have access to the rich diversity of multimedia content produced and made available by Groupe Média TFO. I am pleased that Francophones and Francophiles alike, from Ontario and abroad, make these resources their own as they become available on television and online. What a great source of pride for Ontario’s Francophonie!
